SOCI 3304
Sociological Theory.
Three semester hours.
The study of how theories are formulated in social science. Overview of classical and contemporary sociological theories including functionalism, conflict theory, symbolic interactionism, phenomenology and postmodern theory. Prerequisites: SOCI 1301, and three hours of any Sociology course for a total of six credit hours in Sociology. (Formerly SOCI 4301)
