FALL 2006 ACADEMIC CALENDAR

Registration opens (Returning students see Faculty Advisors; new transfer students register by appointment with Registrar’s Office Advisors); first year students must attend New Student Orientation for advisement of classes. Orientation dates for all entering students to be announced. For more information call the Department of Student Activities, 326-2280 or International Student Services, 326- 2282.
   
Aug 24 Freshman Convocation
   
Aug 25 Faculty and Staff Assembly. All tuition fees due.
   
Aug 28

First Class Day.

   
Sep1
Final Late Registration Day; course changes continue through September1 with permission of instructor.
   
Sep 4  Labor Day Holiday.
   
Sep 11 National Remembrance Day
   
Sept 13

Twelfth Class Day; last day courses may be dropped without record. December 2006 graduation application deadline. No registration beyond this point.

    
Oct 7 Autmus Fest. Classes meet.
   
Oct 20 Midsemester.
   
Nov 4 - 10 Faculty Evaluations.
   
Nov 13

Nov 16 Last day to drop a course or withdraw from the University.
