Communication Ethics.

Three semester hours. (FL)

The course asks how we make ethical judgements about communication practices. How do we recognize lies and decide when lying might be ethical? What other breaches of civility do we shun in the ways people speak and listen? What would be a reasonable ethic for professional and personal communication?
