EDSE 5350
Trends and Issues in Diagnostics
Three semester Hours.
This course will provide the student with an overview of selected areas pertinnt to the diagnostic area: neurophysiology, alternative assessment, and learning potential assessment with emphasis on current learning theories regarding students with disabilities; as well as general trends and issues in the field. Each student will also be introduced to varying diagnostic tests or procedures new to the field. Bilingual students will also maser the Spanish versions of the new tests or procedures when appropriate. May be taken concurrently with EDSE 5330 and EDSE 5345. Prerequisites: EDSE 5305, EDSE 5320, EDSE 5330, EDSE 5340.
