PSYC 5112
Professional Identity Development Group
One semester hour.
Provides a small group experience focused on development of the professional counselor identity for first year students in the MACP program. In addition to discussion of professional identity development issues, students will generate group process notes and gain experience in small group processes and their evaluation. First year MACP students will meet in 6-100 minute groups with a facilitator approved by MACP faculty during the spring semester. Enrollment restricted to MACP students who have completed PSYC 5301 and 5303 in the fall semester. This experience is graded credit no credit.
