SOCW 4310
Integrative Field Seminar.
Three semester hours.
This course integrates student experiences, issues and questions related to the field practicum experience with social work knowledge, skills, ethics and values taught in previous social work classes. Failure to pass this course will result in failure to pass SOCW 4612/4616. This course must be repeated for credit if SOCW 4612 and SOCW 4616 are not taken concurrently. This course has a substantial writing component, including but not limited to daily field logs, social histories, case records, and agency reports of various kinds. Prerequisite: Must have overall GPA of 2.5. Must have completed all courses for the BSW degree with the exception of one elective. Must be taken concurrently with SOCW 4612 and/ or SOCW 4616. Admission to the major.
