Percussion Class
Two semester hours.
A course which introduces the fundamentals of standard percussion: snare drum, keyboard percussion, timpani, drum set, marching percussion, concert bass drum, cymbals and accessories. The course is taught in a laboratory setting with hands-on training on actual instruments in each of the areas. Prerequisite: Must have upper level standing as a music major/minor or consent of instructor.
