EDAM 5323

Critical Issues in Education

Three semester hours.

This course examines understanding the social, cultural, political and economic conditions that are shaping the contemporary world and are the context for our present educational reforms, agenda and public discourse. Students will have opportunities to develop their own understanding and skills in becoming more effective leaders and to develop a strategies process to address emerging themes in education. Prerequisite(s): EDAM 5301, EDAM 5305, EDAM 5320, and EDGR 5320. Course may substitute for one of the following: EDGR 5308, EDAM 5313, EDAM 5321, EDAM 5332 or EDAM 5338.
