EDGR 5320

Foundations of Educational Research

Three semester hours.

This course provides the competencies required for a critical understanding, evaluation, and utilization of published educational research. The course addresses quantitative as well as qualitative research methods. Topics include problem formulation and refinement; research design; sampling; measurement and data collection; data analysis techniques; and the inference process. Prerequisites: Graduate Standing. Students pursuing the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) must be admitted to and in good standing in the College of Education.
