EDRD 5319

Advanced Diagnosis of Reading Difficulties

Three semester hours.

Students will use formal and informal instruments to diagnose reading problems. Supervised casework is required and reviewed. Thirty hours of lecture and fifteen hours of laboratory are required. This course may be taken as a core course by individuals pursuing the Master Reading Teacher (MRT) Certificate. Prerequisites: Graduate standing; EDRD 5305 or 5309. Students pursuing the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) must be admitted to and in good standing in the College of Education.
