Appointments should be requested at least 48 hours (two working days) in advance to allow time for materials to be retrieved.
For Spring 2026, research time is available
Mon - Fri 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

To best ensure confirmation for a preferred time slot, get in touch with us as far in advance as possible.
Visitors, please note the following:
- Visitors must have a confirmed appointment to use materials.
- Visitor appointments are for a designated date and time.
- Visitors are required to observe safe handling procedures of all collection materials.
- Before the visit, the researcher is subject to a Research Interview to facilitate efficient use of on-site research time.

The following guidelines are in effect at the Archive
- A maximum of two visitors are allowed per research team time slot.
- No food or drinks are allowed in the reading room.
The University Campus will close: Mon, Jan 19 (MLK Day)
SPARC may have abbreviated hours during Spring Break March 9 - 13

- Celebrate USA 250 - Early Americana Exhibit Audio Tour public listening times - Come by during designated hours and listen to the professional storytellers at the American Historical Theater guide you through a 20 minute, recorded exploration of our original correspondence on display written by King George III, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson.
