TAMIU SBDC Invites Small Business Owners to Third Annual Mobile Business Expo Wednesday

If you dream of selling your special recipe in a food truck or a pop-up shop some day, Texas A&M International University’s Small Business Development Center (TAMIU SBDC) invites you to its Third Annual Mobile Business Expo’ this Wednesday, July 31 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the Senator Judith Zaffirini Student Success Center, room 101.

The event, ‘Start Your Store on Wheels,’ aims to educate the local business community on the state of mobile business and provide information to those interested in starting or growing their mobile business, said Michael González, TAMIU SBDC director. Registration fee for the event is $25.

“We invite everyone who is interested in launching a mobile business to join us at this exciting event and meet our panel of experts who will provide all the necessary tools, tips and advice to start their own store on wheels,” González said.

Participants will also learn about licenses and permits, how to register their business, startup costs, and finding a truck or booth for their business, González said.
