TAMIU Students Lauded for On-Time Degree Completion

A total of 1,641 students were recognized on Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) Student Success Wall during a special ceremony Tuesday, Nov. 2 at 11:45 a.m. on the second floor of the Senator Judith Zaffirini Student Success Center.

This year’s festivities are of particular importance as University College celebrates its 10th year recognizing students on the 18-foot special permanent display, “Four Years, Many Futures.”

This year’s unveiling saw the names of 493 sophomores, 531 juniors and 617 seniors attending TAMIU added to the display.

The display bears the names of on-time students who started at the University as freshman students and are making timely progress to graduate in four years.

Additionally, the display serves as a visual endorsement of the students’ progress and is a popular social media and photo spot.
