TAMIU’s Dance Program Holds On-Campus  Info Session

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Dance professors Jee Eun Ahn and Timothy Rubel will hold an informal, on-campus information session on TAMIU’s Dance program on Wednesday, November 3 from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. in the Breezeway between Dr. F. M. Canseco Hall and Anthony J. and Georgia A. Pellegrino Hall.

Interested students will learn more about the University’s Dance program and course opportunities for the upcoming Spring semester and beyond. Freshman and sophomores are especially encouraged to attend.

TAMIU’s College of Arts and Sciences, department of Fine and Performing Arts offers a minor in Dance. Students may also take Dance courses for elective credit. Courses are offered in Ballet, Ballet Folklórico, Flamenco, Modern/Contemporary, Choreography, Dance Conditioning and more.

The University’s Dance program produces a Fall and Spring concert series, which feature both faculty and student choreography. Additionally, students are sometimes invited to work with faculty members on their professional projects and perform off-campus.
