Texas A&M International University's  (TAMIU) “Borderland Collective" exhibit  housed at TAMIU’s Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Gallery, ends Friday, Sept. 30.

The exhibit features the work of artists Mark Menjivar and Jason Reed. The long-term, participatory art, and education project is based in Texas and utilizes collaborations between artists, educators, the youth, and community members to engage in complex social issues.

The exhibit also looks to create spaces for differing perspectives, constructive dialogue and reflection. The installation features a migration stories collaboration with TAMIU students.

It is  made possible by the College of Arts and Sciences, department of Fine and Performing Arts.
