TAMIU Area Preview Day Held
Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) hosted an Area Preview Day Saturday, Nov. 5, from 11:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Area Preview Day welcomed students from the Rio Grande Valley and beyond. Individuals from local area high schools also attended.
Preview Day is an opportunity for incoming students to learn more about TAMIU and experience Dustdevil life first-hand. Event highlights included a tour and the University’s Rec Center, lunch at Dusty’s Diner and a University Service Fair where individuals could learn more about support services available to enrolled students.
Several sessions were offered on topics ranging from admission, financial aid, housing services, study abroad and student life.
Preview Day capped off with a celebration with a full-fledged introduction to school-spirited traditions and chants to reinforce University pride.
