TAMIU SBDC Announces Google Partnership for No-Cost Business Seminars
On Thursday, April 20, the Texas A&M International University Small Business Development Center (TAMIU SBDC) announced its partnership with “Grow with Google,” and will now offer a series of no-cost webinars to business owners.
TAMIU SBDC director Norma L. Rodríguez explained the new partnership.
“TAMIU SBDC aims to collaborate with organizations that align with their mission to provide valuable resources and professional guidance for small business owners to contribute to the economic growth of Laredo. This exciting partnership will present a variety of webinars throughout 2023 for business owners,” Rodríguez said.
The digital skills trainings provided will cover a variety of subjects, including how to build an online presence, sell online, reach more customers, customer service, marketing, online safety, Google tools, and professional development for students, veterans and military families, she noted.
Registration for the May and June webinars is now open. “Increase Your Sales with Google Tools” will take place Wednesday, May 17 at 11 a.m., while “Launch Your Business with Customer Focused Marketing” is scheduled Thursday, June 8 at 11 a.m.
