Late Registration for the Spring 2024 semester at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) has ended, but Flex Courses remain an option.

Enrollment is underway now for “Flex” Term undergraduate courses that compress class time length to 13 weeks, said TAMIU vice president for Enrollment Management, Juan Gilberto García, Jr.

“Flex Term courses provide students with a chance to enroll in or add courses to their schedule that can help them complete their degree plan faster.  Flex Term classes start Feb. 1 and end at the same time as regular term classes.

“Many students add Flex Term Courses to make additional progress on their degree plan. Some even graduate earlier and begin their chosen career or graduate school faster.  This is a particularly good semester to add a class as there were no tuition increases this academic year,” García explained.

Flex Term undergraduate course offerings reflect a broad spectrum of TAMIU courses across its five Colleges and Schools, as well as various delivery methods. There are 146 upper-level courses, over 90 face-to-face courses, more than 100 online courses, 35 WIN sections, and core curriculum courses available.  Courses are offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening.

Those interested in Flex Term undergraduate courses must enroll by Tuesday, Feb. 6.

For additional information, students are encouraged to meet with their College/School advisor or review the TAMIU Scheduler at the dedicated Registration Hub at https://www.tamiu.edu/reghub/
