School Districts Career Fair Invites Prospective Educators to Campus
Future educators and those seeking a career in education are invited to attend the Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) School Districts Career Fair on Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Student Center Rotunda.
TAMIU students, alumni and the public are encouraged to attend. Individuals can RSVP for the event at https://go.tamiu.edu/SchoolDistrictsFair.
The Fair will feature 17 employers from across Texas, including several independent school districts such as Alamo Heights ISD, Alice ISD, Austin ISD, Carrizo Springs ISD, Round Rock ISD and more. Both Laredo ISD and United ISD will be in attendance, as well.
Employers will relay information regarding current hiring needs, job openings qualifications, required certifications, and any job-related questions. Attendees are highly recommended to bring copies of their resumes and should dress in business casual attire.
The University’s Office of Career Services offers a broad range of services, including creating resumes and cover letters, practicing interviewing skills and accessing Handshake.
