TAMIU Hosts Upcoming Career Fair, Welcomes 25+ Employers to Campus
Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) students, graduates, and community members are invited to explore their career options during the upcoming Fall 2026 All Majors Career Fair, scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Student Center Ballroom.
Over 25 employers are expected to attend this year’s the Career Fair hosted by TAMIU’s Office of Career Services.
Employers attending the Career Fair are Bachoco USA, Border Region Behavioral Health Center, the City of Austin, Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Inc., Dallas Independent School District – Recruitment & Selection, Gulf Coast Eye Institute, H-E-B, Homeland Security Investigations – DSAC Laredo, IDEA Public Schools – Alumni Affairs College Completion, KIPP Texas Public Schools, Lewis Energy Group, Marine Officer Selection Team – San Antonio, Marmol Y Granito Nilo, Modern Woodmen of America, Radio United, SAMES Motor Co., Inc., TAMIU’s Office of Global Initiatives / Binational Center and Office of Human Resources, TCS Education System, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality – Human Resources, Texas Department of Transportation, Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley – College of Education & P16 Integration, Travis County Sheriff's Office, U.S. Customs and Border Protection – Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, United States Secret Service, White Knight Pest Control and more.
During the Fair, employers will discuss current hiring needs, qualifications for job openings, required certifications, and will be available to answer any job-related questions.
Attendees are highly encouraged to bring copies of their updated resumes and prepared a 30-second “elevator pitch.” Individuals should be dressed business-professional as job recruiters may be conducting on-site interviews.
This year, a series of workshops will focus on career readiness and will be offered to current University students.
All workshops will be held in Student Center, room 230 from 11 a.m. to noon

TAMIU’s Career Services offers services including creating resumes and cover letters, practicing interviewing skills, and access to Handshake, an employment tool. Services are available to prospective and current students, and University alumni.
