TAMIU Art Faculty Exhibition "Confluence" Opens Thursday, February 19

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) will present "Confluence," an exhibition of works by TAMIU Art Program faculty.
An opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, February 19, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Center for the Fine and Performance Arts Gallery. The exhibition will remain on view through April 17. The event is free and open to the public.
"Confluence" features works by TAMIU College of Arts and Sciences faculty members Emily Bayless, Jesse Shaw, Emily Rice, Sandra Amoabeng, Janice Lardey, Julio Mendez, Eva Solíz, Analee Paz, and Thomas Brown.
Exhibition design and curation were completed by Jess Ziegenfuss, TAMIU assistant professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Fine and Performing Arts, and students in the Issues in Museum Studies course.
Additional programming, including artist talks and workshops connected to the exhibition, will be announced at a later date.
