TAMIU to Observe Emancipation Day Friday, June 19

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) offices are closed, and Summer Session classes are suspended on Friday, June 19, 2026, in a State-authorized observance of Emancipation Day.

The Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library, the REC Center, and the City of Laredo Tennis Complex at TAMIU will also be closed.

TAMIU offices will reopen, and classes will resume on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 8 a.m.

Summer Session II begins Monday, July 6, 2026. The first day of classes for the Fall 2026 semester is Monday, Aug. 24, 2026.
