Registration Now Available!

Dear Employer,

On behalf of Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), the Office of Career Services invites you to participate in the TAMIU Fall 2012 Seasonal Job Fair to be held October 3-5, 2012.

To help prepare you for the holiday rush, this year Career Services is excited to host our first seasonal job fair designed to help you search for qualified and prepared candidates for the upcoming, high-volume shopping season.

As an exhibitor, you will have access to a talented student/graduate population interested in a career in retail.  During the Job Fair, you will have an opportunity to showcase your organization and interview candidates several ways: General Exhibitor, Informational Session, VIP Access for Online Application, and On Campus Interviews.  

General Exhibitor- Promote your open positions while students attend your booth and learn about your company.

Informational Session- Discuss positions, qualifications and answer questions to a select group of students in our Career Café, a relaxed lounge setting.  Reserved for the first 6 employers who complete registration and payment.

VIP Access for Online Application- Encourage students to fill out your online application at an assigned computer with direct access to your company’s website. Reserved for the first 9 employers who complete registration and payment. 

On Campus Interviews-Interview students one on one in our private conference room to review applications, screen and select top candidates.

Job Fair Wednesday: October 3, 2012

On Campus Recruitment: Thursday, October 4, 2012 and Friday, October 5, 2012  

The agenda for the Job Fair on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 is as follows:

Recruiters:  Please plan to arrive on campus at 8:15 a.m. at the Student Center. This will allow ample time to complete registration and set up your table display. The fair will take place in the Student Center, Room 120.  If you did not register for the VIP Access to Online Applications, feel free to bring paper applications.

Thursday, October 4 and Friday, October 5, 2012

The agenda for the On Campus Interviews on Thursday is as follows:

Registration is currently underway and can be done by contacting us via email (see below). 

Cancellations must be done by September 30, 2012 for full reimbursement.  Cancellations done after the date are not reimbursable.

 Student/Alumni Registration

Registration for this event is not mandatory, and the event is free of charge to students, alumni and the general community. To show interest and receive announcements about this upcoming event, please RSVP on our TAMIU Calendar or in Dusty Works (Login > Career Events > Search > 2012 Seasonal Job Fair > "Register For Event")!

 Recruiter Registration

The registration fee is $50 and includes: (1) skirted 6 ft. table, (2) chairs, (1) sign with printed organization name (no logos), and wireless access.

Regular Registration fees apply by the deadline date of September 30, 2012. Late Registration is $75. Only regular registration fees (including meal tickets) are fully reimbursable if done by the deadline date.

Please follow the following steps to register:

STEP 1:

  (Please follow directions listed on form, and be sure to fax form to Career Services, unless registering through online store.)
• Registration with Credit Card (Link to Online Store)

STEP 2:
If you will be needing Audio/Video equipment (such as outlets, etc.), please e-mail Career Services with a list of your needs at careerservices@tamiu.edu.

STEP 3:
Make sure Career Services has a list of names, e-mails, and phone numbers for all recruiters attending the Career Fair. E-mail this list to careerservices@tamiu.edu.
