| Language and Literacy for the Young Child |
| Three semester hours. (FL/SS-Odd) |
| This course provides an understanding of the underlying theoretical principles related to the acquisition of language and literacy. Authentic assessment of children s progress in literacy is emphasized. Prerequisites: Admission to the College of Education and 2.7 overall grade point average. May be taken concurrently with EDEC 4366. |
