The South Texas Writing Project Summer Institute Consultants participated in variety of projects involving volunteer work during 2011. Partnerships with the Sacred Heart Orphanage, Bethany House of Laredo, and the Boys and Girls Club have provided the project opportunities to give back to the community of Laredo and surrounding areas.
