Availability of TAMIU Annual Security Reports and Annual Fire Safety Report
Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) publishes an Annual Security & Fire Safety Report (ASFSR) for the Main Campus in Laredo, TX, and an Annual Security Report for the Texas A&M-RELLIS campus where TAMIU is part of an Academic Alliance along with other members of the Texas A&M University System in Bryan, TX. Both reports contain information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as: crime prevention, university police law enforcement authority; crime-reporting policies, disciplinary procedures and other matters of importance related to security and safety on campus. The Reports also contain crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus (including On-Campus Student Housing Facilities for the Main Campus), in certain Non-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by TAMIU or a recognized student organization, and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.
The ASFSR published for the Main Campus also includes fire safety policies and procedures applicable to On-Campus Student Housing Facilities as well as the three most recent calendar years fire statistics associated with these facilities. The ASFSR is available at http://www.tamiu.edu/clery.pdf. The Texas A&M-RELLIS ASR is available at http://www.tamiu.edu/clery/rellis.pdf.
