ENGL 3301

Writing Across in the Disciplines (WIN)

Three semester hours. (FL/SS)

This course provides opportunities for students to write in various disciplinary areas, including but not limited to, Fine and Performing Arts, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Humanities. Students engage in the writing process and compose a number of writing projects that meet the expectations of a given genre and discipline, including, but not limited to visual analysis, critical analysis, and argument-synthesis. Research and critical reading, writing, and thinking are emphasized. Prerequisite: ENGL 1302 with a grade of "C" or better or equivalent course.
