Critical Thinking
Three semester hours
This course is a comprehensive introduction to the cognitive process which helps students to develop higher order thinking skills needed for academic study and career success. Perspectives on the thinking process will be drawn from a variety of disciplines such as philosophy, cognitive psychology, linguistics, and the language arts, as well as from the students' personal experiences.
