TAMIU offices have scheduled a late start tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 22, with offices reopening and classes resuming at 10 a.m.
The late start affirms the University's commitment to the safety of all students, faculty, and staff in light of current weather conditions.

Scholarships:

STARS Scholarship: Stars Scholarship Fund is dedicated to providing successful futures for local students. Stars was established to offer students an equal opportunity for advancement in higher education. Scholarships provide deserving students the ability to achieve success at the college of their choice. Nineteen million dollars have been awarded up.

Dee Michell Scholarship: This scholarship was established to honor Dee Michell, who died of cancer in 2003, a founding member of the the TAMIU Gay, Lesbian, and Bi-sexual Club. Students entering the MACP Program may apply for this $2,000 scholarship award. Each year, one MACP student is selected to receive this need-based award. Applications will be given during orientation and must be received by September 15th of each academic year.
