TAMIU Named Among Best Colleges in America, Ranked by Value

At Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), an academically focused and student-oriented experience can be both exceptional…and affordable.   

A recent study by Money.com named TAMIU as one of the “Best Colleges in America, Ranked by Value” based on quality and affordability.

The University came in as the sixth top-ranked school in Texas, ahead of Baylor University, Sam Houston State University, Texas Tech University, University of North Texas, Texas State University, University of Dallas and more.

Nationally, the University took the 21st spot in lowest estimated full-price – also making it the second-lowest estimated full-price college in Texas.

Colleges included in the rankings took several factors into account, ranging from the quality of education, affordability, graduation rates, early career earnings and employment outcomes.

According to the methodology completed by Money.com and listed on its website, “Roughly three-quarters of Americans view the high cost of college as the biggest barrier to earning a degree, according to a recent survey from NORC at the University of Chicago.”

TAMIU was also named one of the most affordable and cheapest colleges in Texas by CareerKarma. The web featured ranking named the University fourth in the State for cheapest In-State Tuition, and fifth in the State for cheapest Out-of-State Tuition.

In addition to being affordable, the University was previously recognized as the highest-ranked regional University in The Texas A&M System among Regional Universities West in the 2022 U.S. News and World Report. The Report also considered social mobility where the University placed highly.
