Just as Texas A&M International University students (TAMIU) ready for the start of the Fall semester Aug. 22, a new set of rankings affirms that attending TAMIU is both affordable…and smart.

In a special Texas-focused web feature, CareerKarma, a popular online destination for career advice, has identified the most affordable and cheapest colleges in the State.  By In-State Tuition, TAMIU is ranked fourth in the state for cheapest and fifth in the State for cheapest for Out-of-State Tuition.

TAMIU president Dr. Pablo Arenaz said that such rankings are helpful for both parents and students.

“As we all grapple with rising inflation, it’s important that such rankings identify those universities that truly offer a higher education that is accessible, affordable and exceptional. Our A&M System Board of Regents have affirmed this further by assuring that there will be no tuition increase this Fall,” Dr. Arenaz noted.

The ranking authors note “the cheapest universities in Texas offer high quality education at an affordable price.”  The ranking is available at https://careerkarma.com/blog/cheapest-colleges-in-texas/

In a separate survey, CareerKarma looked at the Most Affordable Online Nursing Master’s Programs nationally and singled out TAMIU’s online Master of Science in Nursing Administration.

The authors noted the program requires 31 credits that can be completed in 10 months and covers critical analysis, evidence-based practice, and ethical healthcare management.  The ranking is available at https://careerkarma.com/blog/cheapest-nursing-schools/

A TAMIU summer outreach series helps potential and returning students finalize their plans to enter University this Fall. Free, it’s offered Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Senator Judith Zaffirini Student Success Center.
