Halloween Fest, Trick-Or-Treating Fun For All, Returns Nov. 1 with 50+ Booths
Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) student organization, Campus Activities Board, in partnership with the TAMIU Office of Student Orientation, Leadership, and Engagement (SOLE) will present its ever-popular Halloween Fest Wednesday, Nov. 1, from 6 - 9:30 p.m. on the Senator Judith Zaffirini Student Success Center Green.
Halloween Fest is a family-friendly event that features food, games, music, and costume contests, amongst others. Entrance is free and open to the public.
“We’re excited to bring this yearly event to our community,” said Dr. Nicholas Hudson, SOLE program director, "It offers a great opportunity for families and friends to gather at TAMIU and welcome the Halloween season in a safe and fun-filled environment."
Dr. Hudson continued, "As one of the largest annual community events, it is exciting to see children of all ages, and those young at heart, participate in a TAMIU tradition. This year, we have expanded our offerings, including live music throughout the event and have lengthened the time of the event to allow for attendees to have more fun throughout their time."
The event will feature over 50 food, activity and educational booths entertaining participants of all ages. Participants can enjoy free inflatables, a live band, costume contests, photobooths and a variety of other activities.
Some booths feature activities such as Guitar Hero, Paintball, Face Painting. Food booths include an assortment of carnival classics like pizza, Tostielotes, Frito Pies, and a variety of baked goods. Halloween Fest is a fundraising event for student organizations on campus. As such, tickets are available for purchase to enjoy food and activities.
