Broad Spectrum of Summer Camps, Programs Ready to Shine at TAMIU

Summer will soon be upon us and planning for those all-important summer camps for children and others has an easy destination: Texas A&M International University (TAMIU).
TAMIU provides a broad spectrum of summer programs for kinder to fifth grade, middle school, high school and college age. Aftercare is available for some programs.

Dusty's Jr. University Summer Camp 2025
This Camp is a proud pioneer in nurturing a passion for knowledge among overachieving and curious young children (Kinder - 5th Grade, 5 – 10 years of age) and introducing them to University life. Camp members work closely with University faculty and staff to cultivate academic skills through fun, engaging projects. Four distinct sessions (7 and 8 days long) grow children's creativity, knowledge, and social interactions through fun artistic classes, hands-on STEAM projects, and engaging group activities.
Sessions: June 2 -12; June 16 – 26; June 30 – July 10 and July 14 – 24. Cost options: tuition only ($280); tuition and lunch ($360); tuition and aftercare ($360) and tuition, aftercare, and lunch ($440.)
3D Design and Printing for Middle School Students
This Camp is offered and sponsored by the TAMIU-MSEIP-STEM2 Grant through the U.S. Department of Education. Students will learn about additive manufacturing, and 3D Design, Modeling, and Printing Techniques. Supplies are provided.
Sessions: June 2 – 6, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and July 7 – 11, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost: Free.

Math Enrichment Program for High School Students
This Camp is offered for high school students to help enhance students’ abilities to develop connections between Mathematics and Science with topics including Algebra, Calculus I, II, and III; Ordinary Differential Equations and Trigonometry. Sponsored by the TAMIU-MSEIP-STEM2 Grant through the U.S. Department of Education.
Sessions: June 9 - 13, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; July 21 – 25, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost: Free.
Bio-Engineering & Life Science for High School Students
This Camp is for high school students and is designed to inspire exploration of biomedical engineering-related topics such as biomaterials, biomechanics, nanotechnology, microfluidics, and biomedical robotics. Sponsored by the TAMIU-MSEIP-STEM2 Grant through the U.S. Department of Education.
Session: June 16 – 20, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. only.
TAMIU Pre-Freshman Engineering Program (PREP)
This Camp is a four-week enrichment opportunity for current middle school students to prepare them for careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields.
Sessions: June 2 – June 30. Cost contingent upon assessment ($30), acceptance, and program fee ($320).
Dustdevil Baseball Prospect Camp
The Dustdevil Baseball Prospect Camp is designed for athletes ages 15 - 25 looking to showcase their skills in front of college coaches. This one-day Camp provides an opportunity to be evaluated on hitting, fielding, pitching, and base running through drills and scrimmages. Gain exposure, receive feedback, and experience the intensity of a college-level baseball environment. Open to all High School players serious about taking their game to the next level.
The Dustdevil Baseball Prospect Camp is a showcase event hosted by the TAMIU Dustdevils Coaching Staff and offers a unique opportunity to train and be evaluated in a competitive, college-style environment.
Sessions: Tuesday, June 17 and Saturday, Aug. 9. Cost: $100 (Pitcher), $120 (1 Position) and $125 (Dual Position).
Micro Credential In-Person Summer Bootcamp
This Summer Bootcamp for TAMIU students offers sessions focused on Python Programming, R Programming, and Data Analytics, a lunch voucher, and a summer stipend upon Camp completion (full week). It is open to all TAMIU majors and sponsored by the TAMIU Student Emotional and Academic Success (TAMIU-SEAS) and TAMIU-MSEIP-STEM2.
Sessions: Python June 23 – 27, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.; R Programming July 14 – 18; 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Data Analytics August 4 – 8; 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Cost: Free.
