TAMIU Observes TED, Early Release and Memorial Day Holiday

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) employees will observe their annual TAMIU Enrichment Day (TED) on Thursday, May 22, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. 

University offices will remain open during TED, but staffing will be reduced during business hours. 

Additionally, TAMIU will observe an authorized early release at noon on Friday, May 23.

TAMIU will observe  Memorial Day on Monday, May 26 in a State authorized holiday. All University offices will be closed, and Maymester classes will be suspended. 

University offices will reopen and Maymester classes resume Tuesday, May 27.

The Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library will be open Thursday, May 22 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Friday, May 23 from 8 a.m. - noon. It will be closed Saturday, May 24 through Monday, May 26.

TAMIU Recreational Sports will be open Thursday, May 22 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday, May 23 from 7 a.m. to noon. It will be closed Saturday, May 24 through Monday, May 26.

The City of Laredo Tennis Complex at TAMIU will be open Thursday, May 22 from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m., and Friday, May 23 from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. It will be closed Saturday, May 24 through  Monday, May 26.
