Texas A&M International University’s Small Business Development Center (TAMIU SBDC) will offer an in-person QuickBooks Online course designed to help small business owners and professionals manage their finances with confidence and accuracy.

The hands-on training, led by a certified business advisor, will be held Tuesday, June 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at TAMIU. Participants will learn how to record sales, track income and expenses, and streamline daily accounting workflows. The course also includes expert tips and tools to get the most out of a QuickBooks subscription.

“Accounting software like QuickBooks significantly alleviates the financial management burden on small businesses,” said Norma Rodríguez, TAMIU SBDC director. “If you're not ready to hire an accountant to handle your books and finances, this program is an excellent alternative. It accelerates the accounting process, reduces errors, improves data accessibility, ensures organization and compliance, and saves money. Join our upcoming course to learn how QuickBooks can benefit your business."

Course enrollment costs $125 per person and includes access to software, computers, internet and training materials. Seating is limited.

TAMIU's SBDC assists small businesses in Jim Hogg, Webb, and Zapata counties with no-cost confidential advising services, low-cost to no-cost training and market research.
