TAMIU Hosts 5th Annual Video-Game Inspired Zombie Run

They pressed start and ran for their lives.
The Fifth Annual Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Zombie Run 5K happened Saturday, Oct. 11 at 8 a.m. at the Jovita Idar El Progreso Park (Bartlett Soccer Complex), located at 6002 Thomas Ave., Laredo, TX.
The adrenaline-fueled adventure attracted runners and walkers alike to navigate through a post- apocalyptic, video-game inspired journey. Attendees were encouraged to wear their best zombie-fighting attire.
The event was made possible in partnership with Visit Laredo and TAMIU Rec Sports, in addition to University support from HealthyU, Student Health Services and Housing and Residential Life.
