Student Notification
Texas A&M International University administration, faculty and staff understand the importance to promote a safe and healthy environment. To continue on its mission to develop respectful citizens, the institution provides annual disclosures to educate the community. Below you will find annual notification to students. We highly encourage all students to become familiar with University policies, procedures, and sanctions, which may be imposed for failure to comply with university standards.
AlcoholEdu Online Training
Texas A&M International University has joined together with many of the top schools across the country to provide pre-matriculation alcohol education to all new students. AlcoholEdu is a thoughtful, educating and engaging program for college students committed to thinking about their life choices. All incoming, undergraduate TAMIU students are required to complete AlcoholEdu within the first semester in attendance.
How to Access the Training:
You will receive a course invitation from Texas A&M International University to your TAMIU Dusty email with information on how to log into your account and access the training. Invitations will be sent out AFTER the 20th class day of each semester. You will receive a weekly reminder email until you have completed the training.
Failure to complete Part 1 of the training by the date indicated in the email will result in an academic hold placed on the your student account - preventing you from registering for next semester's courses.

Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Online Training
In an effort to raise greater awareness of the risks of abusing prescription drugs, Texas A&M International University has now incorporated a this new and interactive training. As with AlcohoEdu, all incoming, undergraduate TAMIU students are required to complete Prevention Drug Abuse Prevention within the first semester in attendance.
