PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE SPECIAL EDUCATION COUNSELOR

REQUIREMENTS

1.     Valid Texas School Counselor Certificate

2.     Six semester hours in Special Education, i.e., EDSE 5305 Survey of Special Education and EDSE 5310 Survey of Mild Disabilities (or it’s equivalent)

3.    The Special Education Counselor certificate does not  require a certification exam.
