ENGL 3311
General Linguistics
Three semester hours.
A study of the linguistic nature of language, including general language principles, phonetics, semantics, syntax, and socio-linguistics. May be taken by a student who has taken ENGL 4309. Prerequisite: Three hours of sophomore literature or consent of instructor.
