World Mythology

Three semester hours

A study of the nature, cause, and use of myths through wide reading in various mythologies. Special emphasis upon the effects found in American life of the Classical, Norse, and Judeo-Christian traditions, and upon myth as a contemporary phenomenon. Prerequisite: Three hours of sophomore literature or consent of instructor.
