ENGL 5342

Global Literature in English.

Three semester hours.

An in-depth investigation of the literature of any era that is written in English but does not originate in the United States or its territories or in England itself. Areas of study may include literature of Commonwealth nations (e.g., Australia, Canada), of former British colonies (e.g., India, Ireland), and of English-speaking peoples in the Caribbean, Africa, and the Americas. May be repeated for credit when topics vary. Prerequisite: Graduate standing.
