Stamp Icon: Passport Stamp

Participate in a minimum of 5 events throughout the week to qualify for the giveaway. Collect a Passport at any event or at ZSC 206 during office hours. Please return the passport to IE by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14. The winner will be announced on Monday, November 17.

Proclamation

STC Rotunda | 12 p.m.
Dr. Maynard, the President of TAMIU, will formally inaugurate the International Education Week. Students from 37 diverse countries currently enrolled at TAMIU will take part in the flag parade. A group photograph will be captured, and complimentary food will be provided.

Market the International U

STC 236 | 3 p.m.
Career Services will provide assistance on how to incorporate the Study Abroad Experience into a resume. This opportunity is open to all students who wish to showcase their global competencies in the job market.

Cultural Festival

STC Rotunda | 2 p.m.
A cultural celebration showcasing eight unique countries. Join us in honoring the traditions and savoring complimentary cuisine from Italy, Spain, Brazil, Greece, South Korea, Mexico, Japan, and France.

Study Abroad Sneak Peek

ZSC Lobby | 11 a.m.
An information session will be held regarding Summer faculty-led programs, which will provide details about the various locations. Engage with faculty members and enjoy complimentary food. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to win a waiver for the application fee.

 

ISMP X AIS Karaoke

STC 236 | 1 p.m.
Karaoke is organized in partnership with the International Student Mentor Program and the Association of International Students, with complimentary food and popcorn available.

UKIYO-E: Japan's Timeless Art

STC 236 | 4 p.m.

Explore Ukiyo-e, the iconic Japanese art of woodblock prints and illustrated books from Edo-period Japan. These prints capture everyday life, fashion, and culture with striking detail. Learn how artists, carvers, and printers collaborated to turn ordinary scenes into extraordinary works of art.
