Study abroad is a discovery process, a discovery of foreign language and academics, countries and cultures, but most importantly it is a discovery of self! It is our hope that you will participate in an international experience that will provide you with educational opportunities and enrichment. TAMIU has a comprehensive offering of study abroad programs, financial aid, and student services to guide you through the process.

Students

• Assistance in finding the right program for you that corresponds with your degree plan.
• Financial planning and scholarship opportunities
• Preparation for the departure, support during the program, and academic equivalencies and grade approvals upon return.

Faculty

• Provide faculty with assistance designing appropriate study abroad programs.
• Support during the experience and upon completion of the program.
