On Thursday, Nov. 7, Thursday, Nov. 14, and Thursday, Nov. 21, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., Tracy Mapus, owner of La Gorra Azul Ranch, will share her passion and mastery of canning and pickling by teaching “Let’s Jam,”  a class on the art of making strawberry jam, bread and butter pickles, and lemon marmalade. Class cost is $75 per person.

Mapus has been a Laredo local for over 25 years and her love of the outdoors, growing her own food, and experimenting in the kitchen has become a hobby she enjoys sharing and teaching about with her family, friends and others. As a beekeeper, cattle rancher, and expert gardener, she has also mastered the art of canning, given her love of fresh and seasonal produce and flavors.

Williams started with ARM 14 years ago, managing inside sales, distribution channel, world-wide inside sales to Channel.  She holds a bachelor of science in Agriculture from Oklahoma State University.
