TAMIU Launches Dedicated 55th Anniversary Website
Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) celebrates its 55th Anniversary Celebration with the launch of a dedicated website.

The interactive digital experience pays homage to TAMIU’s storied 55-year history as noted by University president Dr. Christopher Maynard in the website’s welcome message.
“From a study carrel on the shared campus of then-Laredo Junior College to three name changes and a dazzling home on 300-acres of former ranchland in northeast Laredo, we’ve got a story worth sharing…This University has made a difference, serves a community and region with tremendous pride, and looks forward to extending its legacy for generations to come,” said Maynard.
Spanning key moments in time, viewers can journey back to the University’s founding and uncover the remarkable stories made possible by the students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members who continue to make the University’s mission real.
