Laredo College, TAMIU Team Up for Annual Open House
Laredo College (LC) and Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) continued their tradition of collaboration by hosting their annual TAMIU Open House at LC, which offers an opportunity for future Dustdevils to explore transfer pathways.
The event took place Wednesday, March 18 outside LC’s Kazen Student Center.
During the event, incoming students met with TAMIU service representatives from admissions, financial aid, housing, the testing center, student engagement offices, and more. TAMIU faculty also offered insight from the University's five Colleges and Schools.
Mirian Granados, director of TAMIU’s Office of Recruitment and School noted the Open House provided targeted and meaningful assistance for transfer students seeking admission to the University.
“Our Open House at Laredo College offered prospective transfer students the opportunity to receive one-on-one guidance, helping support a smooth transfer to the University. Students met with faculty members to learn more about academic programs and explore their degree interests,” Granados explained.
