Laredo College, TAMIU Team Up for Annual Open House Wednesday, March 18

Laredo College (LC) and Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) will continue their tradition of collaboration by hosting their annual TAMIU Open House at LC, which offers an opportunity for future Dustdevils to explore transfer pathways.
The event is happening Wednesday, March 18 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., outside LC’s Kazen Student Center.
During the event, incoming students will be able to meet with TAMIU service representatives from admissions, financial aid, housing, the testing center, student engagement offices, and more. TAMIU faculty will also offer insight from the University's five Colleges and Schools. Snacks and refreshments will also be provided.
Mirian Granados, director of TAMIU’s Office of Recruitment and School concurred, noting the Open House provides targeted and meaningful assistance of importance for transfer students seeking admission to the University.
“Our Open House at Laredo College offers prospective transfer students the opportunity to receive one-on-one guidance, helping support a smooth transfer to the University. Students can also meet with faculty members to learn more about academic programs and explore their degree interests,” Granados explained.
