ACE Offers Multiple Workshops This Fall at TAMIU

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) students are invited to attend the upcoming workshops hosted by the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE).

Workshops are free and open to all currently enrolled students.

Organized by ACE Learning Support Specialists (LSS), students can attend any one of the upcoming academic offerings throughout the fall semester.

• ACE Services Overview – Monday, Sept. 14 from 12 – 1 p.m. in the STC Rotunda
• Introduction to Programming – Tuesday, Sept. 15 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in PLG 219
• Taking Notes Effectively – Wednesday, Sept. 16 from 12 – 1 p.m. in STC 231
• The Limitations of AI Usage in Academics – Wednesday, Sept. 23 from 12 – 1 p.m. in PLG 219
• Self-Efficacy – Wednesday, Sept. 30 from 12 – 1 p.m. in STC 230
• Chicago Style for History Majors – Wednesday, Oct. 7 from 12 – 1 p.m. in STC 231
• The Art of Emotional Intelligence – Wednesday, Oct. 21 from 12 – 1 p.m. in STC 230
• Tips for Applying to Scholarships – Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 12 – 1 p.m. in STC 230
• Social Awareness – Wednesday, Nov. 4 from 12 – 1 p.m. in STC 230

Through ACE, TAMIU students can access on-campus tutoring, mentoring, and personal instruction from the LSS team for enrolled developmental Math and English students.

ACE offers individualized, small-group, and online sessions for undergraduate and graduate students. Through ACE, students can build a strong, academically oriented foundation in a supportive learning environment.
