TAMIU's TechLoan Program assists students who are challenged with technology access. Need a laptop or calculator for class? The TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) Program is a federally funded program funded through the U.S. Department of Education that provides academic assistance to eligible undergraduate students. The program provides tutoring, counseling, remediation, and other support services to low-income, first-generation, or students with disabilities.
To qualify for the SSS Program, you must be a student at Texas A&M International University, a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and meet one or more of the following criteria:
Students who meet the above criteria can apply to become participants in the SSS Program at any point in their undergraduate career and at any time during the semester. To apply for the program, you may pick up an application from the TRiO SSS Office, ZSC 222; an online application is also available on the TRiO SSS Program website—applications are accepted all year round.
