2012 BUSINESS & HOSPITALITY CAREER FAIR

February 29 through March 6, 2012

On behalf of Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), the Office of Career Services invites you to participate in the TAMIU 2012 Business & Hospitality Career Fair to be held February 29 through March 6, 2012.

The multi-day event offers plenty of opportunities to network with members of our community, university alumni and our up and coming graduates.  Allow us to partner with you in your search for qualified and prepared candidates.  You may participate in one of four ways:

CASE STUDY FACILITATOR

This year’s agenda calls on business and hospitality industry experts to partner with the A.R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business and the College of Arts and Sciences and serve as facilitators of real-world Case Study scenarios with undergrad and graduate students.   Students will have an opportunity to participate with you in a hands-on learning experience to solve your company’s case study. To register as a Case Study Scenario Facilitator, contact Laura Martinez at laura.martinez@tamiu.edu.

CORPPORATE PRESENTER

Additionally, you may take advantage of participating as a corporate presenter—giving you the opportunity to promote your company in a classroom setting and reach students/graduates that are specifically interested in employment and or internships within your company.  To register as a Corporate Presenter, contact Laura Martinez at laura.martinez@tamiu.edu

SPONSOR

The agenda for the Job Fair on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 is as follows:

Recruiters:  Please plan to arrive on campus at 11:00 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Student Center. This will allow ample time to complete registration and set up your table display. The fair will take place in the 1st & 2nd Floor Rotunda. Also keep in mind that underclassmen (Freshmen and Sophomores) may also attend this event, so feel free to bring materials that may interest these students.

Student/Alumni Registration

Registration for this event is not mandatory, and the event is free of charge to students, alumni and the general community. Recruiter Registration

The registration fee is $120, and additional meal tickets cost $25 each.

Registration fee includes: two (2) meal tickets for lunch, one (1) skirted 6 ft. table, two (2) chairs, one (1) sign with printed organization name (no logos), and wireless access.

Regular Registration fees apply by the deadline date of February 24, 2012. Late Registration is $150. Only regular registration fees (including meal tickets) are fully reimbursable if done by the deadline date.
