2011 Graduate & Professional School Fair

Held on a yearly basis, the Graduate & Professional School Fair is a prime occasion for students to gather essential information about current graduate and professional school opportunities. Fair participants are afforded a rare chance to speak directly with representatives of graduate schools in order to learn about various programs of study such as medicine, dentistry, chiropractic, law, nursing, business and many others.

Agenda

The agenda for the Fair on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 is as follows:

9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Recruiter registration and setup
10:00 a.m. 2011 Graduate & Professional School Fair Opens
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided to recruiters and eligible students.
2:00 p.m. 2011 Graduate & Professional School Fair Closes
2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Recruiter display taken down

Recruiters:  Please plan to arrive on campus at 9:00 a.m. at the Student Center. This will allow ample time to complete registration and set up your table display. The fair will take place in the First Floor Rotunda. Also keep in mind that underclassmen (Freshmen and Sophomores) may also attend this event, so feel free to bring materials related to your undergraduate programs.

Student/Alumni Registration

Registration for this event is not mandatory, and the event is free of charge to students, alumni and the general community. To show interest and receive announcements about this upcoming event, please RSVP on our TAMIU Calendar or in Dusty Works (Login > Career Events > Search > 2011 Graduate & Professional School Fair > "Register For Event")!

Recruiter Registration

The registration fee is $100, and additional meal tickets cost $20 each.

Registration fee includes: two (2) meal tickets for lunch, one (1) skirted 6 ft. table, two (2) chairs, one (1) sign with printed organization name (no logos), and wireless access.

Regular Registration fees apply by October 13, 2011. Late Registration is $130. Only regular registration fees (including meal tickets) are fully reimbursable if done by the deadline for regular registration.

If you will be needing Audio/Video equipment (such as outlets, etc.), please e-mail Career Services with a list of your needs at careerservices@tamiu.edu.

STEP 3:
Make sure Career Services has a list of names, e-mails, and phone numbers for all recruiters attending the Exposition. E-mail this list to careerservices@tamiu.edu.
